In the heart of everything, surrounded by delicious Italian food, beautiful architecture, and a stunning cathedral that's just a short stroll away. And of course, being able to see the magnificent Piazza dei Miracoli from a distance was such a treat.
Oh, how I detest being surrounded by culture, history, and mouthwatering cuisine. Absolutely dreadful.

I recently stayed at a charming apartment in Lucca for two weeks. The accommodation was beautifully clean and a perfect mix of antique and modern furnishings. The king size bed was incredibly comfortable and the multi jet power shower was a fantastic feature. The host was extremely responsive when we had an issue with the coffee machine and quickly provided a replacement. The location within the city walls was ideal, allowing us to easily explore the architecture and enjoy the varied selection of nearby restaurants. The gluten-free pizzas at Itaco and San Colombano were a particular highlight. I highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Lucca.
Would recommend this hotel.

The food for breakfast could have been better, maybe by offering some milk for tea and coffee.

The location was incredible - right in the heart of the city! I could easily walk to all the main restaurants and attractions. Plus, the apartment was spacious and had great natural light. I especially loved the balcony that overlooked the wall. And parking was surprisingly easy, I always found a spot right in front of the door.
The lack of basic supplies was a letdown. No salt, pepper, olive oil, or tea.
